We’ve been going to the Meridian Township Farmers Market for a few weeks now, and it’s going pretty well. We don’t have a lot, mostly because we’re saving the majority of our produce for the CSA. But I did have some spinach, swiss chard, rhubarb and some herbs.
There’s a lot of new people at the market, including someone selling whole milk (pasteurized), as well as the normal vendors including the fishmonger (who I didn’t think came to the early market). But I hope that if you have time to come out you can see a farmers market in your area. Now is the time for asparagus and early greens after all.
